Pioneer Women’s Tennis Signs Three to National Letters of Intent

FAIRFIELD, CT (December 12, 2011) - Head women's tennis coach Mike Guastelle announced today the signing of Paige Olson, Lindsey Post and Alyssa Migliorini to National Letters of Intent to join the Pioneer tennis program starting in September of 2012.

Olson is a 4-star recruit according to TennisRecruiting.net and has been ranked as high as 197 nationally in their rankings. She has won the Maryland State Outdoor and Clay Court Championships in the 18's, 16's and 14 year old age group. She has been ranked in the top 25 in the Mid-Atlantic USTA rankings every year.

Post, from local Danbury (CT) High School, has been a standout performer in the FCIAC's where she has made All-FCIAC her first three years. As a junior, she was an All-State selection after reaching the Connecticut State High School Individual tournament quarterfinal round. She is a 3-star recruit according to TennisRecruiting.net and has been ranked as high as 301 nationally in their rankings.

 Migliorini was an All-State performer at North Haven High School after reaching the quarterfinal round of the Connecticut State High School Individual tournament last spring. She has been a New Haven Register All-area selection her sophomore and junior year and holds a singles record of 55-16 in three years at North Haven HS.

"I am really excited to have Paige, Lindsey and Alyssa join our program next year," stated head coach Mike Guastelle. "All three should have an immediate impact for our team next fall and I am looking forward to working with them."
