Schutt Makes 52 Saves in 4-1 Loss to St. Anselm in ECAC Open Tournament

Alexius Schutt (Elk River, MN) made 52 saves, but the Sacred Heart Women's Hockey team lost 4-1 to St. Anselm in the first game of the ECAC Open Tournament.

Nicole Palazzo (Rocky Hill, CT) scored SHU's only goal, assisted by Jennifer Burroughs (Raleigh, NC)at 13:36 of the third.  Palazzo leads the team with 16 goals, 13 assists, and 29 points. She has scored seven goals in SHU's last three games.

St. Anselm scored the game's first four goals.  Molly Corsi, Rosemarie Giarusso, and Kathryn Picarello all found the back of the net in the first.  Sami Tutu added a third-period power play goal.
