Tara Kent (Glenview, IL) made it a two-goal cushion with a goal at 12:02 of the third off a scrum in front of the net, with Mey and Delaney assisting. Before the game, Hartman, Hankins, Lapierre, and Fontaine were honored along with fellow seniors Kate Dunlop (Flesherton, ON), Jessica Rice (Trumbull, CT), and Jackie Galvin in a pre game ceremony for their four years as members of the Sacred Heart women's hockey program.
"I just want to thank the seniors for their four years," said head coach Tom O'Malley. "They have greatly improved our program and are an important reason we are where we are now. They will be missed."
