Sarah Pelletier (Lewiston, ME) set a new women's state record in Maine at the 15th Annual IBC Open at Sparetime Recreation in Hallowell, ME. The 2011 SHU graduate shot a 792 series with games of 236, 299, and 257.
Pelletier was a four year member of the Sacred Heart bowling team and garnered All-Northeast Conference second team honors in her junior season. She was also a key member of the squad that captured the 2009-10 Northeast Conference championship, the program's first NEC crown.
The 2011 Pioneers are ranked third in the nation and currently sit atop the NEC standings in search of a second NEC title in three years.
