SHU freshman Ericka Norman (Chino Hills, CA) averaged 16 points and four assists in a pair of victories for the women's basketball team en route to being named the Choice Hotels/NEC rookie of the week. The 5-7 point guard poured in a career high 19 points in Sacred Heart's 74-54 win over Bryant Saturday evening. Norman followed that performance with a 13 point, four assist performance two days later in a critical conference win over Central Connecticut State.
