Simon Harrsen (Almdorf, Germany) earned the assist on the play. Omer Levy (Yahud, Israel) then scored with five minutes left, set up by Giancarlo Maurello (Rego Park, NY) to give SHU its first lead in the 85th minute.

The Bulldogs took the game's first lead in the 37th minute on a goal by Tony Flaim, assisted by Eddie Curry. However, SHU goalkeeper Tucker Hackett (Madison, CT) held to a manageable deficit for the Pioneers with six saves, including four in the second half.
