A two-year captain, he was named to the All-FCIAC team as a junior and senior. Earned All-State honors as a senior and was named the FCIAC Championship/Playoffs MVP after leading his team to a championship his senior year. Played in the Bridgeport JCC School Boy/School Girl Class All-Star Game and the New England Challenge at Springfield College. On the football field, he was a senior captain. Earned All-State and All-FCIAC honors as a junior and senior.
