Outfielder Keaton Flint Committs to Sacred Heart for 2012
(Fairfield, CT) - Keaton Flint (Burnt Hills, NY) recently committed to Sacred Heart University and signed a national letter of intent to play baseball for the Pioneers in 2012.
Flint had an outstanding junior season at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School, hitting .435 in 79 at bats. The outfielder showed good power, with 19 of his 34 hits on the year going for extra bases, including ten doubles, five triples, and four homeruns. He scored 28 runs with 15 RBI and also stole 14 bases.
A three-sport athlete, Flint also excelled as the starting quarterback and point-guard on his high school football and basketball teams. He was named to the All-Area (Section II) teams for all three sports last year, as well as the All-State teams for football and baseball. This fall he was named the Player of the Year for Football.
