Deborah Holt returns to Sacred Heart University for her fifth year as a member of the Pioneer Cheerleading staff, now serving as interim head coach. Holt has four years of high school and seven years of collegiate coaching experience in Connecticut. She cheered for three years at Shelton High School and four seasons at Central Connecticut State University.

 Holt was the assistant coach at CCSU in 2006 and was named head coach in 2007. In her first year as a head coach she led her team to a CANNAM Open College National Championship. This past season Holt helped promote the ever growing and talented Sacred Heart Cheerleading program through numerous exhibitions and competitions throughout the state.

Holt teaches part time at Sacred Heart University in the Mathematics Department and at Stratford High School.  In 2008, she started a JV Cheerleading Program at Stratford HS.  Holt is certified through the AACCA and currently resides in Monroe, CT.
