A 2015 graduate of the Sacred Heart women's rowing program, Jaclyn Smith rejoins the program as the Assistant Coach prior to the 2015-16 season fresh off winning her second straight silver medal in the legs, trunk and arms mixed four at the 2015 World Rowing Championships in France.

Rowing Accomplishments

  • Will represent Team USA at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janiero as a member of the legs, trunk and arms four with coxswain
  • Won the silver medal in the legs, trunk and arms mixed four with coxswain at the World Rowing Champions in 2014 and 2015 after finishing fourth in the event in 2013
  • Won the legs, trunk and arms four at the 2015 C.R.A.S.H B Indoor World Rowing Championship after winning the same event in 2014 at the 50th Head of the Charles Regatta
  • In 2015, she completed an undefeated career in the MAAC Championship in the Varsity Pair
  • Won Sacred Heart's first ever Dad Vail Regatta medal in 2015, partnerting with a freshman to finish second setting a program record in the Varsity Pair
  • Began rowing in 2007 at Our Lady of Mercy Academy
