EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ (October 4, 2011) - Senior Carly Bergin (Binghamton, NY) took home the individual title at the 2011 ECAC Divsion I Women's Championship at Twisted Dune Golf Club.  Three Pioneers finished in the top-10 to lead Sacred Heart to a second place finish in a 14 team field.

Bergin posted a 36-hole score of 148 over the two days, winning by two strokes.  Bergin carded a 76 on Sunday afternoon, finishing tied for third on the leader board behind round one leader Lauren Petty of Hofstra who posted a 69.  Bergin took four-strokes of her Sunday score on Monday, posting a 72, the low round of the day, to take home the trophy.  Bergin finished third at last year's event, leading the Pioneers to the team title in 2010.
