Wibmer and Hosokawa Tabbed NEC All-Conference Honors

SOMERSET, N.J.- Sacred Heart University Men's Tennis first-year William Wibmer was named the Northeast Conference All-Conference First-Team while junior Seiji Hosokawa was named to the NEC All-Conference Second-Team as announced by the conference this afternoon.

Wibmer had the best season for the men's team this year tallying 16 wins overall in singles play while going a perfect 6-0 in NEC play. He was named NEC Rookie of the Week four times this season while picking up NEC Player of the Week once on April 16. 

Hosokawa had a strong season going 3-3 in NEC play in both singles and doubles while tallying a record of 9-18 overall in singles and 10-17 in doubles play. This is the second straight year Hosokawa was named to the NEC All-Conference Second team.
