Men's Lacrosse Senior Defensive Duo Featured in New England Lacrosse Journal

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart men's lacrosse senior defensive duo Landon Kramer and Joseph Cipoletti were highlighted in a feature article 'Sacred Heart D-men Cipoletti, Kramer blossom into pillars of program' written by Phil Shore in the New England Lacrosse Journal. The tandem of CIpoletti and Kramer make for a stalwart defensive pairing as the duo helped lead the SHU defensive unit that ranks eighth in the nation in both caused turnovers (10.70) and ground balls (35.90) per game. A two-time NEC Defensive Player of the Week this season, Cipoletti leads the team and NEC in caused turnovers per game (2.88). Kramer, drafted 62nd overall in the 2019 Major Leauge Lacorsse Draft, is right behind CIpoletti ranking sixth in the nation in caused turnovers per game (2.44).

The Pioneers are back in action this weekend with a big NEC road game at Bryant on Saturday. Opening faceoff is set for 12:00 PM.
