Men's Golf Sits in Third After Day One of the BCU Gary Freeman Spring Invitational

DAYTONA BEACH, FL–– The Sacred Heart University men's golf team wrapped up first round play at the BCU Gary Freeman Spring Invitational tied with NEC foe Robert Morris for third place. The Pioneers finished with a team score of +24 and a 330 total.

Saptak Talwar and Alex Manner led the Pioneers as they both tied for 10th. Manner scored a 75 in the first round and 76 in the second. Talwar shot a 76 in both rounds and finished just 4-over par.

Nathan Kim was not far behind Talwar and Manner as he finished tied for 13th shooting a 77 in both rounds.

The Pioneers will conclude play for the BCU Gary Freeman Invitational on Friday March 8th.
