FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Sacred Heart men's basketball senior-captain guard Sean Hoehn was to the All-Met Third Team as announced by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association on Monday afternoon.
This is Hoehn's third postseason honor of the 2018-19 season. He was a First Team All-Conference selection by the Northeast Conference and a First Team All-District pick by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
Hoehn became the eighth player in program-history to earn All-NEC First Team honors after finishing third in the NEC in scoring with 17.9 points per game. Hoehn shot 47.4% from the field and 40.6% from three this season, which ranked 12th and fifth in the NEC respectively.
Hoehn reached double-figure point totals in 28 of the Pioneers' 32 games, leading the team in scoring in 15 games and dropping at least 20 points in 11 of the 28 contests. Hoehn scored 1,366 career points, which ranks 23rd on the program's all-time scoring list.
Hoehn led SHU to a 15-17 season record and an 11-7 record in NEC-play, which secured the third seed in the NEC Tournament for the Pioneers.
