Setting the Scene... The Pioneers look to continue its three-game homecourt winning streak on Sunday afternoon against Binghamton.

Last Time Out... SHU could not overcome the Hartford Hawks hot shooting in the second half last Monday, falling 86-72 at Chase Arena. Joseph Lopez led all players with 22 points and 11 rebounds for his fifth double-double of the season. Mario Matasovic added 16 points and six rebounds.
No Place Like Home... SHU's win over Lafayette on Dec. 9 was the Pioneers' third straight win at the Pitt Center. In those three wins, SHU has averaged 75 points per game and shot over 40% from the field. The Pioneers have won their last three home games by an average of 14 points per game.
Lopez Double-Doubles Up... Joseph Lopez had his fifth double-double of the season at Hartford on Dec. 12, leading all players with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Over the last three games, Lopez is averaging 17 points and 12 rebounds per game. Lopez leads SHU in both scoring (13.8 ppg) and rebounding (9.5 rpg). He also leads the NEC in rebounding.
Hoehn Right At Home... Junior guard Sean Hoehn scored in double-figures for the third straight game on Dec. 11, scoring all 12 of his points against Hartford in the second half. In his last three games, Hoehn is averaging 15.3 points per game. At home this season, the junior is scoring 17 points per game and shooting 45% from the field.
All-Time Vs. Binghamton... The Pioneers and Bearcats split a home-and-home series in the 1998-99 season.
Last Meeting... The Pioneers defeated Binghamton 86-58 at the Pitt Center on Jan. 20, 1999. Dave Fesko led SHU with 22 points and 11 rebounds in the victory.
Scouting Binghamton... The Bearcats won their sixth consecutive game on Dec. 9 with a 77-64 win at Loyola Maryland. Binghamton shot 57.1% from the field in the first half en route to a 36-21 halftime lead over the Greyhounds. Willie Rodriguez led the Bearcats with 22 points, as J.C. Show added 17 points. Show leads Binghamton in scoring at 15.5 points per game. Thomas Bruce is second on the team in scoring at 14.7 points per game, and leads the Bearcats in rebounding at 9.1 rebounds per game. Binghamton has not allowed 70 points in any of their wins during this current winning streak.
