Setting the Scene... Riding its longest winning streak since 2009, Sacred Heart travels to LIU Brooklyn for a 12 p.m. game on MSG and Fox College Sports.

Last Time Out... The Pioneers completed a sweep of its last homestand of the season Thursday night with a 91-81 win over FDU at Coach Bike Court at the Pitt Center. SHU shot 61.5% from the field in the first half to take a 51-42 lead. Quincy McKnight led all scorers with 26 points, adding six rebounds and four steals. Sean Hoehn made four three-pointers to tie his season high of 17 points.

All-Time vs. LIU Brooklyn... The Blackbirds lead the all-time series with SHU 22-11. LIU Brooklyn has won six of the last eight meetings in the series. The Pioneers last won in Brooklyn on Jan. 7, 2008.

Last Meeting... The Pioneers had a chance to force overtime against LIU Brooklyn on Jan. 26 at the Pitt Center, but Matej Buovac's three-pointer didn't go down as the Blackbirds held on for a 60-57 win. Quincy McKnight led SHU with 16 points. Mario Matasovic had 13 points and six rebounds off the bench. Iverson Fleming led LIU Brooklyn with a game-high 22 points. Jerome Frink had a double-double of 13 points and 15 rebounds.

White-Heat Red-Hot Pioneers... With its win Thursday night over FDU, Sacred Heart won its fifth straight game for the first time since 2009. The Pioneers currently have the longest winning streak in the NEC and are one game back of the three-way tie for third between Wagner, Saint Francis U, and FDU at 9-6.

5-0 In February... Sacred Heart has caught fire in February, going 5-0 so far. Since 2015, SHU is 17-4 in February. In the last five games, the Pioneers have averaged 79 points per game and won by an average of 9.4 points per game. SHU's rebound margin during the winning streak is +5.0 and the Pioneers have assisted on 57% of their made field goals.

McKnight's Making Shots... Sophomore guard Quincy McKnight had his 11th 20-point game of the season Thursday night, scoring a game-high 26 points in SHU's win over FDU. In the last five games, McKnight is averaging 21 points and six rebounds per game. He's shooting 43.1% from the field during this current winning streak and 52.9% from the three-point arc. McKnight is second in the NEC in scoring at 19.3 points per game.

Hoehn Shooting Lights Out... Sophomore Sean Hoehn scored 17 points for the second straight game Thursday night, tying his season-high for the fourth time. Over the last five games, Hoehn has shot 51.9% from the three-point line and 86.7% at the free throw stripe. Hoehn has also averaged four assists per game over the last five with a 2.5 assist-to-turnover ratio. Hoehn is eighth in the NEC in three-point field goal percentage at 38.7%.

Scouting the Blackbirds... LIU Brooklyn is currently on a three-game winning streak after winning at St. Francis Brooklyn 82-45 Wednesday night. Jerome Frink and Raiquan Clark both scored 15 points to lead the Blackbirds to a win over the Terriers. Nura Zanna had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. LIU Brooklyn is 10-5 in the NEC, two games behind league-leading Mount St. Mary's. Frink leads LIU Brooklyn with 17.4 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. Iverson Fleming averages 13.6 points per game.
