SIMSBURY, Conn.- The Sacred Heart University Equestrian team wrapped up its show at the Trinity College Hunt Seat this morning. The Pioneers swept two fences sections as the team won both the Show Open Fences sections and the Intermediate Fences section. The team returns to action on Saturday Oct. 20 when they compete in it's second Hunt Seat of the year this time at Connecticut College. Cariann Johnson was named the High Point Rider and Team MVP.

Sacred Heart was the High Point Team with 41 followed by host Trinity with 33, UCONN 31, Connecticut College 26, Wesleyan 16, Fairfield 15, Yale 14 and CCSU 12.
