Jamie Ross was named the Director of Athletic Sponsorship and Fan Engagement in December 2017. In that role he will create, implement and monitor strategic marketing and promotional campaigns to increase the visibility of SHU Athletics. He will oversee the Department of Athletics Pioneer Partnership program and the game day environment for SHU Athletic events.
Ross is a SHU alumnus, earning a B.S. in Business Administration in May 2015 and his M.A. in Athletic Communication and Promotions in 2016.
A native of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, Ross was a four-year letterwinner for the SHU Football team. He was a member of the Pioneers back-to-back NEC Championship winning teams in 2013 and 2014. A First-Team All-NEC selection in 2015, he set the single-season record for yards per punt, punts and punt yardage. He finished his career third in the career standings for punting yards, punts and average punt.
- Ross most recently served as the Account Executive of Lacrosse Championships for IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions
- In that role, he was the primary point of caontat between the NCAA, IMG and Gillette Stadium staff
- He interned in the summer of 2016 with the Maine Red Claws NBA D-League team, assisting the media and marketing groups
- Ross worked at the Great River Golf Club as a Pro Shop attendant in Summer 2016
