FAIRFIELD, Conn. (October 10, 2007) - Sacred Heart freshman Dana Troy (Lebanon, CT) earned her third Northeast Conference Cross Country Rookie of the Week award announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Troy earns her second straight NEC Rookie of the Week award after finishing 14th at the New England Championships with a time of 18:42. The Lebanon, CT native, who received All-New England Honors for her efforts, was the top freshman finisher at the meet, helping the Pioneers to a 13th place finish-- their second best ever at the event.
