Sacred Heart freshman Dana Troy (Lebanon, CT) was named the Northeast Conference Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.

In just her first collegiate meet Troy led all Pioneer harriers at the Fordham Invitational with a time of 19:47. Placing 25th in a field of 233, she helped guide the Pioneers to a twelfth place finish in the 23 school meet.
