Women’s Cross Country Tie Best Ever Finish at NCAA Regionals
The women’s 16th place finish ties a program record for its best ever, as they also finished 16th at the 2012 Regionals.

Sacred Heart Earns Regional Ranking Following Title
SHU is tied for fourteenth with Patriot League champion Boston University. The ranking is Sacred Heart’s third ever regional ranking in program history, as they were ranked 15th in the final poll prior to Regionals in 2008, and ranked as high as 14th in the fifth poll of the season in 2012.

Pioneers Repeat at Northeast Conference Championships
Five Pioneers placed in the top thirteen to earn All-Northeast Conference honors as the Sacred Heart University women’s cross country team repeated as NEC champions for the first time in program history at Stanley Quarter Park on Saturday morning.

SHU Women Tie Program Best With Fourth Place Finish at New England Cross Country Championships
BOSTON – The Sacred Heart University women’s cross country team tied their best ever finish at the New England Cross Country Championships as they placed fourth out of 38 teams in the event held at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. on Saturday afternoon. Their previous fourth place finish was in 2012. Fourteen women finished the event in less than 20 minutes breaking the previous Franklin Park program record of eight.

Bolduc Chosen as NEC XC Athlete of the Week
SOMERSET, N.J. – Sacred Heart University senior Emma Bolduc was chosen as the NEC Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week on Tuesday. It is her third career NEC honor as she was twice named NEC Rookie of the Week during her freshman season.

AMHERST, MASS. – The Sacred Heart University Cross Country team traveled to Amherst on Saturday morning to compete in the Minutemen Invitational. Highlighting the day were the SHU women who had eleven runners break the 19:30 mark, which broke a program record.

Women XC Open Season With Second Place Finish at Stony Brook Invitational; Men Place Fourth
STONY BROOK, NY - The Sacred Heart University Cross Country team opened their 2014 season Saturday morning at the Stony Brook Invitational. The women took home second place while the men finished in fourth. Stony Brook won both the men’s and women’s event.
