BROOKLYN, NY - Freshman Ashlyn Trimble (Temecula, CA) had a match-high 13 kills, while junior Annie Archer (Littleton, CO) and freshman Maile Hetherington (Thousand Oaks, CA) had ten apiece to lead the Sacred Heart women's volleyball team to a 3-0 (25-12, 25-18, 25-20) Northeast Conference win over St. Francis College.

The win closed out the regular season for SHU at 17-12 overall and 4-4 in the NEC. The Pioneers will be the fifth seed in the upcoming NEC Tournament that will be hosted by the top seed, Robert Morris. SHU will face Saint Francis (PA) University in the first round next weekend.

The Pioneers dominated the match on Saturday, making just ten errors on attack and hitting a crisp .367. SHU also had nine service aces, led by four from freshman Brittany Best (Norco, CA).
