Final Stats

HAMDEN, CT - Freshman Brittany Best (Norco, CA) had a match-high 12 kills and 11 digs, while sophomore Courtney Kidd-Kadlubek (Santa Barbara, CA) had 33 assists to lead the Sacred Heart women's volleyball team to a 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 26-24) win at Quinnipiac Saturday afternoon in a Northeast Conference matchup.

The win moved the Pioneers to 15-7 over and 2-0 in the NEC. Quinnipiac fell to 3-24, 0-4.

The Pioneers used a strong serve to get past the Bobcats, racking up 13 service aces. Kidd-Kadlubek had four of them Freshman Maile Hetherington (Thousand Oaks, CA) was the only other player in double figures in kills with 11.

The Pioneers will be in action again on Sunday at 2:30 at home against Fairleigh Dickinson.
