BROOKLYN, NY - Sophomore Ashlyn Trimble (Temecula, CA) led the Pioneer offense with 13 kills, making just two errors in the process, as the Sacred Heart women's volleyball team blanked St. Francis (NY) 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-23) Saturday afternoon. The win extends the Pioneer winning streak to five games and improves their record to 11-6 overall and 2-0 in the Northeast Conference.

Trimble reached double digits in kills for the sixth time this season, and second straight match. The four aces gives her 29 for the season which leads the team.

Sophomore Brittany Best (Norco, CA) had a sold all-around game for the Pioneers with nine kills, seven digs and four service aces. Freshman Elise Sage (Greenwood Village, CO) finished with eight kills.

St. Francis drops to 1-14 and 0-5.

The Pioneers are back in action on Sunday at Long Island University.
