Sacred Heart freshman Angelica Johnson (Little Ferry, NJ) was named the Northeast Conference Women's Track & Field Rookie of the Week announced by the league office.

Johnson earns NEC Women's Rookie of the Week honors after setting a new school record in the 100-meter. The Little Ferry, NJ native's time of 12.53 ranks her third on the NEC rankings this season. Johnson, who also placed sixth in the 200-meter (26.02), qualified for the New England Championships in both events.
