Philadelphia, PA - Freshman Kate Donnelly (Centerville, MA) advanced to the second round of singles action at the ITA women's tennis regionals at the University of Pennsylvania this weekend. The rookie beat Nigara'a Hillary Hansen 6-2, 4-6, 6-2. Donelly then lost to the #12 seed, Amanda Rales of the University of Virginia, 6-1. 6-0.

Also in action for the Pioneers was the doubles team of Nicole Betz (Long Beach, NY) and Julianne Kasinow (Wall, NJ). The duo lost to a team from George Washington 8-2.

The regionals conclude the fall competition for Sacred Heart.
