Final Stats

The Sacred Heart women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to New Jersey Tech at the Tenafly Racquet Club Saturday night. The Pioneers have dropped five-straight dual matches and are 4-5 on the year.

The Pioneers got a pair of singles wins at #2 and #3. New Jersey native, freshman Julianne Kasinow (Wall, NJ) beat Fatima Kasem 6-4 and 6-3 at #2. Sophomore Nicole Betz (Long Beach, NY) dropped the first set 6-2 to Isha Toor but rebounded with a 7-5 win and a 10-8 advantage in the superbreaker to take the match.

SHU will be home on Friday, March 23rd when they host Hartford at 1:30 pm.
