Women's Tennis Shutout by Idaho

HONOLULU, HI – The Sacred Heart women's tennis team was shut out 7-0 to Idaho Thursday night on the campus of the University of Hawaii. The Pioneers are now 0-2 on their Hawaiian road trip and 3-5 on the season.

The Pioneers dropped all three doubles matches by the score of 8-3. At number six singles, freshman Taylor Gurda (Middletown, NY) lost a tough three-setter, 6-2, 5-7, 10-3 to Beaty Flores. Lindsey Post (Danbury, CT) also lost a close one, falling 6-4, 7-6 to Belen Barcenilla.

SHU wraps up their Hawaiian road trip tomorrow night with a matchup against the Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine.

Notes: Idaho is the 51st ranked team in the country.
