Women's Tennis Falls 8-1 at BYU-Hawaii
LAIE, Hawaii (March, 5th, 2014) – The Sacred Heart women's tennis team dropped the doubles points and five of six singles matches on their way to a 8-1* loss to BYU-Hawaii Tuesday night. The Pioneers fall to 3-4 on the season.
Nicole Rydzewski (Maspeth, NY) earned a nice three-set victory at number five singles, taking the super tiebreaker 10-5 over Jeong-Min Jeon to tally SHU's lone point.
BYU Hawaii is currently ranked number two nationally in Division II tennis.
The Pioneers will take on Idaho on Thursday afternoon in match two of their Hawaiian Spring Break.
