SHU Swimming Wins First Meet of the Season

DANBURY, CT - The Sacred Heart University swim team coasted to a 120-71 victory at Western Connecticut State Friday evening. Freshman Juliette Wallerstein (Southbury, CT) came away with first place finishes in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard butterfly. In the 50-free, she hit the wall in 25.31 and finished the 100-fly in 1:03.75. [+]

Marshall, a junior from Cumberland, RI, is the first national qualifier in program history.
