Loretto, PA - The Sacred Heart swimming and diving team lost their first meet of the season, dropping a 131-64 decision at St. Francis (PA) Saturday. The Pioneers won two events, as sophomore Laura Johnson won the 200 yard breaststroke and the Pioneers took first in the 400 yard freestyle relay.

In the relay, the final event of the day, Jennifer Crowley (Newington, CT/Newington), Catheryn Lozinak (Shelton, CT/Shelton), Krystina Eikeseth (Staten Island, NY/Tottenville) and Eileen Connor (Enfield, CT/Enrico Fermi) combined to post a time of 4:04.81. That was nearly three seconds better then the Red Flash time as the Pioneers won the event.
