Fairfield, CT - Sophomore Johannah Kos (Feeding Hills, MA) and freshman Katie Marshall (Cumberland, RI) each posted Top 10 finishes and Sacred Heart swimmers set four more school records at the ECAC Championships at the University of Pittsburgh over the weekend.

Kos finished 9th in the 200 yard backstroke, improving six places from her preliminary heat. Her time of 2:09.21 also set a school. Meanwhile, Marshall finished 10th in the 200 yard butterfly, posting a time of 208.31, also a school record.

In addition to her top finish in the 200, Kos also set a school record in the 100 yard backstroke, turning in a time of 1:00.58, qualifying for finals.

Kos and Marshall teamed up with senior Laura Johnson (Red Hook, NY) and Molly McDonald (Sag Harbor, NY) to qualify form a 400 yard medley relay team that qualified for finals.

This marks the first time in school history that Sacred Heart swimmers have qualified for finals in the ECAC Championships. In all, SHU swimmers set 22 school records this season.
