Fairfield, CT - Sacred Heart won eight out of nine events en route to an 86-70 victory over St. Peter's a women's swim meet at the Wheeler Recreation Center Saturday afternoon.

The Pioneers were led by sophomore Erin Bulvanoski (Oceanport, NJ) and freshman Jordan Meyer (Torrington, CT), who each won individual events and swam their relay squads to victory. Bulvanoski took top honors in the 200 meter individual medley and then swam the opening leg of the 200 meter medley relay which the Pioneers won. Meyer came in first in the 200 meter backstroke and swam the middle leg of the 200 meter freestyle relay in which the Pioneers took first place.

Other winners for the Pioneers included juniors Catheryn Lozinak (Shelton, CT) (800 meter freestyle) and Adriana Morgan (Poughkeepsie, NY) (200 meter freestyle), senior Eileen Connor (Enfield, CT) (50 meter freestyle), freshman Amanda Zullo (Hyde Park, NY) (100 meter freestyle) and junior Laura Johnson (Red Hook, NY) (200 meter breastroke).

The Pioneers finished the dual meet portion of their schedule with a 5-12 record. SHU will take the next two weeks off to prepare for the NEC Championship which will be held in Landover, MD February 15-17.
