Fairfield, CT - Freshman Taylor Froelich (Garden Grove, CA) has been named the Enterprise Rent-A-Car/Sacred Heart University Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of March 31-April 7.

Froelich had her best week as a Pioneer in helping SHU to a 5-1 week. The Pioneer lead-off hitter helped set the table on several rallies as she posted a .650 batting average, knocking out 13 hits in 20 at bats on the week. The personal peppering included six doubles. Froelich scored five runs and drove in five more. She had at least two hits in five of the six games. Froelich is now tied for the team lead in RBIs with 13 and is second on the team in hits with 28.

The Pioneers will host Yale in a non-league twinbill on Thursday and then visit FDU in NEC action on Saturday.
