Before Sacred Heart: Attended Turners Falls High School where she lettered in field hockey and softball for four seasons. She was named All-Western Mass in softball her junior and senior seasons. Her team won the Western Mass DIII Championship both those years and were State finalists both times. She was named all-league in field hockey and was team MVP her senior year.

Personal: She is the daughter of Roy and Dorothy Niedbala. She has one brother, Jay, and one sister, Kelly. She is a Human Movement major. Her favorite book is To Kill A Mockingbird and her favorite movie is Pay it Forward. Her favorite sports teams are the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. Her favorite music is anything by Aerosmith.
