SHU: Has started in every game since her freshman season. In 94 games she has a .242 career batting average with six extra base hits, 23 RBI and one stolen base.
Before Sacred Heart: Attended Cornerstone Christian School where she lettered in volleyball, basketball and softball. She was a three-time softball captain and was named team MVP her sophomore and junior seasons. She was named first team All-Ventura County her junior year and all-league three years. Her softball team twice won the CIF Southern Section Championship. She was named MVP of the Ventura County Senior All-Star game in 2001.
Personal: She is the daughter of Mike and Cathy Monzo. She has one brother, Michael. Her favorite movie is Breakfast Club and her favorite book is Go Ask Alice. Her favorite sports team is the Los Angeles Dodgers and her favorite athlete is Mike Piazza. Her favorite food is ice cream.
