Before Sacred Heart: Attended Beverly High School where she lettered in softball, field hockey and cheerleading. She was voted as the softball team most improved player in 2001 and was named best defensive player in 2002. She was named team captain in 2003 and was named to the northeast conference all-star team in 2002. In field hockey she was named Outstanding Defensive Player in 2001 and Most Improved player in 2002. She also received the Coaches Award for cheerleading.

Personal: She is the daughter of Steve and Heidi Bissel. She has one brother, Chris, and two sisters, Taryn and Nicole. Her favorite sports teams are the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. Her favorite athlete is Tom Brady. Her favorite food is buffalo chicken tenders.
