Regular Season Finale Moved To Pioneer Park

Fairfield Conn.- The Sacred Heart Pioneers (20-26 NEC 8-6)  will move their final regular season game, to Pioneer Park, as they take on Fairleigh Dickinson (5-35 NEC 1-13) in a double header, scheduled for 1pm. The Pioneers have recently secured their spot in the 2017 Northeast Conference Championship for the first time since 2011 after sweeping Robert Morris.

 

Sacred Heart has proved to excel at home, posting an 8-8 record at Pioneer Park. The Pioneers hit the road for the 2017 NEC tournament hosted by Saint Francis U, in Loretto, Pennsylvania on May 11-13th. The last time Sacred Heart made it to the NEC tournament, the Pioneers took home the hardware going 3-0.
