Dear Friends and Family of Sacred Heart University Softball:
With our first home game just around the corner, we want to take a moment to contact our Sacred Heart University Softball alumni, parents and friends to share some thrilling news. On Friday, April 6, we will open the new Pioneer Park Softball Stadium versus the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights. When finished your Pioneers will be playing in New England's finest softball stadium complete with turf outfield, stadium seating, locker rooms, bullpens, a press box and a video room.
The coaching staff is truly proud of our team and their commitment to represent Sacred Heart with great pride and enthusiasm. We are also thankful for our alumni, parents and friends who continue to attend our games and who annually support us through the Pioneer Club. Your gifts provide the necessary funding to purchase additional equipment, pay for our annual spring trip and supplement our recruiting budget so we may continue to bring the brightest and best talent to Sacred Heart.
In order for the Sacred Heart Softball program to build on past successes, we need your help now more than ever. Therefore, as we prepare to open Pioneer Park we are offering you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have your name or business forever associated with Sacred Heart Athletics through our Pioneer Park Donate-A-Seat program. The cost to donate a seat is $350 and your gift to the softball program is fully tax-deductible.
We hope to see you at a game this spring and remember if you cannot make it to a game when you donate a seat you will always be at Pioneer Park rooting on the Pioneers.
Thank you for your support and Go Heart!
