FAIRFIELD, CT (December 4, 2003)- Sacred Heart University women's soccer standout Leslie Konsig (Millburn, NJ) was named to the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) All New England Second Team after leading the Pioneers to a 10-5-4 record in the 2003 season.

In 19 games played this season Konsig allowed just 11 goals the entire season as she recorded a Northeast Conference (NEC) leading 10 shutouts. Of the 11 goals allowed this season only three were allowed at home.

Konsig also led the conference in goals against average (0.56), save percentage (.909), saves (110) and shutouts (10). She ranked third in the conference in saves per game (5.79). Konsig was also named NEC Player-of-the-Week back for the week of October 14th through the 20th.
