FAIRFIELD, CT - Junior Britney Dupee (Portland, ME) has been named the Brine/Northeast Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week today. Dupee grabbed the honor after helping Sacred Heart to a pair of victories over Northeast Conference rivals Wagner and Long Island.

The Portland, ME native netted the lone goal in the 37th minute of the Pioneers' 1-0 win over Long Island on Sunday. She had an insurance goal in the SHU win at Wagner on Saturday.

The two wins put the Pioneers in a second-place tie in the Northeast Conference standings at 2-1-3. SHU is looking to extend it's conference-leading streak of reaching the NEC playoffs to seven.
