Final Stats

HAMDEN, CT - Fertuna Velaj scored the only goal Quinnipiac University would need just 12 minutes into the game to lead the Bobcats to a 3-0 win over visiting Sacred Heart in a Northeast Conference women's soccer game Sunday afternoon.

The Pioneers fell to 1-14-3 overall and 0-6-1 in the Northeast Conference with the loss. Quinnipiac improved to 7-5-2 overall and 3-3-2 in the NEC.

The Pioneers were outshot 19-11 in the game, but did have four corner kicks to just two for the Bobcats. Sophomore goalie Meghan Reichelt made seven saves in net for SHU, while Jillian Kelley had five for Quinnipiac.
