ORONO, ME - The Sacred Heart women's soccer team got an early goal from senior Nathalie Urbas and used an own goal on a Marist College error early in the second half to defeat the Red Foxes 2-1 in the consolation game of the University of Maine Tournament on Sunday. The Pioneers, now 1-1, used the Urbas goal just 3:10 into the match to take a 1-0 lead. Marist, 0-2, tied the score with a goal from Kristina Anderson from Jenna McCrory just over four minutes later. Sacred Heart got the only other score of the contest less than a minute into the second half when a Red Fox misplayed caromed into Marist's goal. Freshman goalie Ashley Mocarski earned her first collegiate win, while being forced to make just two saves. Sacred Heart out shot Marist 18-10 in the match. The Pioneers will next be in action on Friday at Brown University at 7:00 p.m.
