The 2011 campaign marks Jorge Pinto's seventh season on the sidelines as an assistant coach at Sacred Heart University. Pinto, a graduate of Fairfield High School, assists with on the field coaching, recruiting, fundraising and all other aspects of the program.

Pinto played collegiate soccer at Springfield College and Rhode Island College. He was a four-year starter at Fairfield High where he led the school to a state championship.

Pinto comes in as a well respected youth coach throughout Connecticut. He has worked with various ages groups ranging from U-9 through High School. He is also the Director of Coever Coaching for the State of Connecticut. He served as a volunteer assistant coach for the SHU women's soccer program for two seasons before joining the staff full-time.

He lives in Fairfield with his cat, Pebbles.
