Jorge Pinto Position: Assistant Coach Experience: 5th Season

The 2009 campaign marks Jorge Pinto's fifth season on the sidelines as an assistant coach at Sacred Heart University. Pinto, a graduate of Fairfield High School, will assist with on the field coaching, recruiting, fundraising and all other aspects of the program.

Pinto played collegiate soccer at Springfield College and Rhode Island College. He was a four-year starter at Fairfield High where he led the school to a state championship.

Pinto comes in as a well respected youth coach throughout Connecticut. He has worked with various ages groups ranging from U-9 through High School. He is also the Director of Coever Coaching for the State of Connecticut. He also served as a volunteer assistant coach for the women's soccer program for two seasons.

He lives in Fairfield with his cat, Pebbles.
