SHU Varsity 4, Pair Qualify for Next Year's Head of the Hooch
The Sacred Heart rowing team competed at the Head of the Hooch regatta Saturday and Sunday. A successful first appearance in this prestigious event was capped with a series of automatic qualifiers for next year, including the varsity 4, which finished 16th out of 66 entries led by Tori Sufczynski, Sarah Poirier, Meghan Donelan, Juliana Merighi and Emily Casey. The open pair crew of sophomores Sufczynski and Poirier also qualified for next year, finishing 14th out of 30.

SHU Rowing Competes in Head of the Fish
The Sacred Heart rowing team competed in the Head of the Fish regatta Saturday. Varsity open pair, Sarah Poirier and Tori Sufczynski, brought home Bronze with a time of 14:55.77. While Novice 4+ took silver in a field of 16 with Meghan Donelan, Shannon Smith, Sarah Jaquith, Juliana Merighi and coxed for the first time by Lesia Sisung.

SHU Novice 4 Wins at Head of the Housatonic
The Sacred Heart rowing team competed in the Head of the Housatonic regatta Saturday. The Collegiate Novice 4 posted the Pioneers' best finish winning the event ahead of RPI and Williams College in 20:16.9.
