Denise Farina is beginning her second year working with the Sacred Heart Women's Lacrosse team. After serving as a volunteer assistant last year, Farina will be a part-time assistant coach along side head coach Laura Cook. Farina will primarily work with the defensive unit but will also be responsible for recruiting, fundraising, tape exchange and other daily operations.

From 1998-2002, Farina was a starting defender for the SHU Pioneers. In 2002, she recieved a BA degree in English and in 2003 she earned a MAT at SHU in Secondary Education.

Farina resides in Bridgeport, CT and is engaged to fellow SHU Alum '02, Thomas Daly, who is a fireman in New York City.
