The last week heading into final exams can be stressful for a student athlete, but the Sacred Heart University women's ice hockey team held its first ever Pioneer Pride Holiday Cup inter-squad tournament to help ease the tension head into final exams and winter break.

The two-day round-robin style tournament saw teams skate versus each other four on four. The teams consisted of between five and six members each with a goaltender. When all was said and done the team of Michelle Panella, Ashley Nyborg, Rachel Mroz, Jenna Cataldo, Sarah Hickman, Jane Auxier and goalie Sarah Perry emerged victorious.

With final exams and the end of the semester on hand, the team won't return to action until the new year. They take on Saint Michaels on January 4, 2005 at 3:00 PM at the Milford Ice Pavilion.
