FAIRFIELD, CT (April 28) - The Sacred Heart University women's ice hockey team and head coach Tom O'Malley have announced their team captains for the forthcoming 2005-06 season. Seniors Jane Auxier and Sarah Turbert will wear the captain's 'C' while Nicole Farrelly and Jessica Felt will wear the assistants 'A'.

Auxier, a defenseman, recorded four points last season in 26 games, all on assists. She also led all Pioneres in penalty minutes with 36. Turbert finished the season fourth in scoring on eight goals and nine assists for 17 points in 26 games.

Farrelly finished the season with five points from her position on the blue line, collecting a pair of goals and three assists in 23 games while Felt finished third on the team in goal scoring, lighting the lamp nine times on the season while dishing out three assists for 12 points. She also was tied for the team lead in power play tallies with four.
