ASTON, PA (November 20) - The Sacred Heart University women's ice hockey team fell to the Neumann College Knights 6-3 in action on Saturday night despite a hat trick from freshman Katelin McLaughlin (Hingham, MA).

McLaughlin opened up the scoring for the Pioneers just 1:26 into the game on a feed from Michelle Panella (Morganville, NJ) and Shannon Murphay (South Boston, MA). McLaughlin completed the hat trick at 4:50 into the third, but the Knights answered back again later in the third for the 6-3 victory.

SHU goalie Sarah Perry (Sudbury, MA) finished the night with 30 saves and Neumann goaltender Teresa White finished the contest with 42 saves.
